Managers to look harder at their operating costs

And Independence LED's 300% increase in sales is well above the industry average. Charlie Szoradi – Independence LED, Founder and Chairman, has pointed out that " We credit our growth and leadership position to five key factors: Our Shift in Manufacturing from China to America, Thermal Management, UL Classification, Reseller Support, and the overall Recession that has forced Owners and Managers to look harder at their operating costs."

According to the company, firstly, in the summer of 2010, its manufacturing from China to Boyertown, PA and now produces LED Tubes with domestic and imported components.

Secondly, heat is the enemy of the Light Emitting Diode, and Independence LED has superior Thermal Management over imported LED Tubes. This is accomplished with the External Driver, Deep Fin Heat Sink, Surface Mounted Diodes, and thermally-conductive Printed Circuit Boards.Thirdly, its LED secured the Underwriters Laboratories (UL) Classification on its entire system of linear lighting rather than just the components.

For Manufacturer Reps and Distributors, Independence LED has hosted numerous LED Boot Camps over the years to support the "Solution" Selling approach to high performance lighting with ROI Calculators and a host of support files.

LED planar lighting device that reduces materials

Oree announced its participation and contribution of planar lighting technology – the Oree LightCell? – to the Fraunhofer Center for Sustainable Energy Systems (CSE) Building Technology Showcase, a first-of-its-kind research and demonstration building for sustainable technologies in the City of Boston’s Innovation District. Oree is one of 35+ partners contributing a combined total of $2.7 million in advanced building energy technologies and services for the new “living laboratory.”

“This project is a natural fit for Oree and our LightCell technology, which was designed to enable smarter, more efficient lighting design,” said Eran Fine, Oree’s Founder and Co-CEO. “We are proud to have our planar illumination products incorporated into this new building, and to be part of the solution for a ‘greener’ future.”

The Oree LightCell is a LED planar lighting device that reduces materials, weight, and volume of fixtures, which in turn reduces carbon footprint. This unique technology is the thinnest, most efficient and cost-effective planar lighting solution to date. The LightCell has a modular design, which enables design flexibility and makes it the ideal product for any widespread light source.

Fraunhofer CSE is performing a deep energy retrofit and renovation of the historic, 100-year-old building at 5 Channel Center in Boston to transform it into a research and demonstration facility for advanced building energy technologies. CSE researchers will evaluate the reliability and effectiveness of the technologies incorporated into the building, helping technology developers prove out their products with building-integrated and other applied research, and showcasing these technologies in a state-of-the-art exhibition and educational space open to the public. The building will be Fraunhofer CSE’s new headquarters, housing its advanced research labs and staff.

Chinese investors will be able to invest in such service businesses as warehousing

Additionally, mainland Chinese investments also can entry into 97% for the manufacturing sector, 54% for infrastructure, led linear high bay light and 50% for the service sector.

Mainland Chinese investors will be able to invest in such service businesses as warehousing and 25 new infrastructural items will be opened to mainland Chinese investors, which can invest in those items via BOT (build-operate-transfer) method.

According to Chen Deming, China’s minister of commerce, following the signing of cross-Taiwan Strait investment protection agreement, mainland China plans to expand the investment scope in Taiwan, which will cover not only manufacturing industry but also infrastructure. The investment protection agreement is scheduled for signing in the first half this year.

With Bridgelux LED array technology, the HELLA down light features an innovative, very low profile luminaire. According to led high bay light, the luminaire will deliver an effective lumen output of 2600 lumens in 4000K neutral white. The new down light is designed to replace the traditional CFL and Metal-Halide lighting systems while consuming only 43 Watts of power.

while a chimney effect uses natural convection to rapidly eject hot air

A leading innovator and manufacturer of high performance, architectural LED-based lighting solutions for commercial, institutional, led linear high bay light and urban environments, today announced that it won a prestigious red dot award for its high-performance projector, the Lumenbeam LBX.

The competition is hotly contested by manufacturers from all fields of industrial design including makers of cars, computers and furniture. Lumenpulse's Lumenbeam LBX was selected by a 30-member expert jury after evaluating 4,515 designs -- a record-number of submissions to the red dot competition. The red dot design award dates back to 1955 and is now one of the world's largest and most distinguished design competitions.

The Lumenbeam LBX is a high performance architectural lighting projector, which uses energy-efficient, high-power LEDs for the illumination of large spaces and structures. Half the size and weight of existing solutions, the fixture is unique for its slim form factor and 120,000-hour lumen maintenance (L70). The powerful output and extended lifetime is the result of an innovative thermal design that allows cool air to flow through the system, while a chimney effect uses natural convection to rapidly eject hot air.

The Lumenbeam LBX is part of a broad family of Lumenbeam luminaires designed to solve multiple lighting challenges with a single consistently designed form factor, and is particularly effective for large-scale projects led high bay light. It is available with a choice of four different optics and various mounting options, which gives greater scope to specifiers, lighting designers and architects.

the latest developments in related industries

In addition, the spring event will be an information platform. At forums on the sidelines of the trade show, lighting designers and manufacturers will make trend forecasts and experts will inform attendees of the led linear high bay light latest international regulations and technological developments. Plus, it will also have information networking events that give industry insiders an opportunity to learn about the latest developments in related industries.

The streetlight study is jointly led by NEEA and the City of Seattle, aiming at comparing the difference in visibility between new LED street lights and traditional high pressure sodium lights. And the city has been closing down 15th Avenue NW between NW 65th and NW 80th Street to allow volunteer pedestrians and drivers to test the LED lights under varying conditions for the past few nights.

According to NEEA, the three-night streetlight testing in Ballard demonstrates the effectiveness of solid state lighting using LEDs. Additionally, the study will provide the guidance to help municipalities select proper lighting levels for LED streetlights, which use up to 50 percent less energy than traditional streetlighting technologies.

GlacialLight will be featuring their newly released LED flood light series using Philips Lumileds LED chips, Arcturus GL-Bay light series, Pollux series LED panel lights, and Capella series down lights. GlacialLight will also be displaying a number of other LED lighting solutions including: torches, led high bay light with dimming functionality, high bay lights, lamp lights, LED tubes, light bar display lights, as well as streetlight and spotlight solutions.
