mechanical parts involved in the final LED lighting solution

LED lighting design requires a complex set of calculations with custom firmware to deliver consistent color. The two biggest problems that LED lighting engineers face are having to account for differing LED performance specifications based on manufacturing bins and the LEDs' degradation.over different temperatures. With PSoC Designer 5.0, designers simply select a color from a gamut presented on-screen. Pre-loaded manufacturers' bin specifications and choice of either temperature or optical feedback algorithms are automatically applied to the selected design and programmed into an led high bay light controller. This can save anywhere from weeks to months of design time for a complex design.

EZ-Color LED controllers can support up to 16 LED strings, compared to four or five strings for competitive devices. The additional strings can mean a savings of dozens or even hundreds of controllers in very large designs, cutting design complexity, power consumption and board space. The EZ-Color LED controllers are powered by Cypress patent pending PrISM(TM) technology. The PrISM modulation technology significantly reduces low-frequency flicker and radiated electro-magnetic interference (EMI)--common problems in LED lighting designs. Designers also have the flexibility to add additional functionality to the EZ-Color controllers, including battery charging, motor control, thermal feedback, programmable control gear and other features.Spanish enterprise LUXINTEC, specialized in the design, R+D and manufacturing related to LED systems, that is, electronic parts, optical parts, and mechanical parts involved in the final LED lighting solution, which aims to achieve increased manufacturing capacity, higher speed of response and full control over in-house manufacturing processes of LED systems by incorporating an “pick and place” line in its factory in Spain.

In order to better provide these benefits and control in-house its manufacturing processes, LUXINTEC has incorporated to its factory of the Technology Park of Boecillo a Surface Mounting Device line–also known as SMD line.Such machinery is specific for the correct positioning of electronic components involved in the final LED system solution. As a result of this investment, led high bay light foresees a substantial increase of its production capacity in order to be able to respond to the demands of its current and target partners. In addition, the enterprise aims to improve its control over the manufacturing cycles and reduce the times of introduction of its LED solutions into the market.

which owns the buildings

Molica said a string of 300 incandescent holiday lights - which is about average - costs the average Bay Area customer $70.40 in energy during the approximately six-week holiday season. That's compared with 43 cents for the led high bay light same number of LED lights. That means you save $70 a season if you switch out 300 incandescent lights to LED lights. It is impossible to say how many people have switched, but for the past two years PG&E has been offering exchanges and incentives to residential customers, building owners and merchants to put up energy-efficient lights.

The most dramatic example is at the Embarcadero Center, where more than 17,000 lights illuminate the towers and lure shoppers during the holidays. Boston Properties, which owns the buildings, put in energy-efficient cold cathode technology lights this year, thanks to a $34,000 PG&E rebate. The new lights reduce the energy output from 15 watts to only 2 watts per bulb. It means Boston Properties will save 80,000 kilowatt hours between November and January compared with last year. That's a 43-ton reduction in carbon dioxide wafting into the heavens, Molica said.

During the annual lighting ceremony Nov. 21, PG&E officials handed out 500 strands of LED lights. Many San Francisco merchants jumped aboard the green-lighting bandwagon a year ago.Fillmore Street merchants switched out their old lights last year. Virtually all the lighting on Fillmore from Geary to Jackson streets is now energy efficient. Mission District led high bay light and Noe Valley merchants also switched to LED lights last year, Molica said.More options are also available for consumers. In November, Home Depot offered $3 certificates toward LED lights for people who brought in their incandescent holiday lights. The store also doubled to 30 its selection of kinds of string lights. The store sells 138 eco-friendly yard decor items, artificial trees and other products with energy-efficient lights in them.

The key features as follows

The LED Compact Floodlight is designed for broad illumination with the fixture relatively close to the lighted surface maintaining excellent uniformity throughout its beam pattern. Recommended distance from the lighted surface is 3' to 15' depending on lamp and wattage. The key features as follows.Kim Lighting is the world's foremost designer and manufacturer of quality, high-performance outdoor architectural and landscape lighting products. These include roadway, pedestrian, low-level and building-mounted solutions for contemporary or traditional commercial, industrial and institutional applications. Kim Lighting is leading industry in the development of led high bay light products that use the latest technologies and determining standards for the capabilities of LED for general outdoor illumination.

The color changing LED lighting systems installed throughout the casino's spas and restaurants uses the LiveLED series of fixtures along with the Sunlite DMX controller by Nicolaudie to create vibrant and dynamic color changing effects. The "intelligent" lighting package is fully programmable and allows the facility to easily alter the look of each room according to a desired mood or for a special occasion.According to Paul Benton, Western Regional Manager for Advanced Lighting Systems, with the opening of its luxury hotel, Tulalip Resort Casino has become one of the most distinctive meeting, gaming, entertainment and shopping destinations in Washington State. Nexxus Lighting and Advanced Lighting Systems are excited to be a part of the casino's expansion. This project showcases the capabilities of their color changing LiveLED system and enhances the overall experience for the guests of the Tulalip Resort Casino.

Nexxus Lighting is a leader in advanced lighting technology, including solid-state LED and fiber optic lighting systems and controls used in commercial, architectural, signage, swimming pool, entertainment and retail lighting. It’s reported that the lighting device is for short distance lighting, features a trimless simple design and improves the led flood light appearance of showcased items with its less obtrusive presence as a fixture. It is intended for use in showcases at commercial facilities, ornament shelves in houses and so forth.Panasonic indicated that the lighting equipment can be rotated 360° horizontally and tilted 24° vertically to light up the display as desired. In addition, the new device is suitable for close-up lighting without damaging the showpieces because LED lighting devices do not produce heat or ultraviolet rays,

where thermal management is a challenge

The 5mm and 3mm LEDs are targeted towards traffic signaling, transportation and direct view signage applications, including the LED billboards frequently appearing on buildings and along roadways. For these types of exterior applications, AlInGaP-based LEDs have proven to be a challenge for the industry as their performance fluctuates with temperature. When used in exterior advertising-type applications, for example, traditional amber LEDs tend to dim as the day gets warmer and brighten as the led high bay light, which is a problem. LED-based signs and traffic indicators should do exactly the opposite, which is to brighten in the daytime and dim at night to maintain balance with the ambient light in order to enhance visibility and maintain public safety.

They have been able to overcome key challenges that have plagued designers who use traditional AlInGaP amber devices. The blue-excited amber phosphor solution allows their to offer tight color and luminosity bins with very substantial increases in the overall efficacy. With a 56 lumen typical output, their 1-watt amber LEDs are demonstrating 70% more efficiency than AlInGaP amber chips operating in nominal environments.

In higher heat environments or where thermal management is a challenge, the blue-excited amber LED line maintains a lumen-level more comparable to high-output blue LEDs. In those more rigorous environments, led flood light can experience performance degradations of up to 50% of their initial intensities, suggesting more than a 2.5 times increase in efficiency from the selection of Intematix' blue-excited amber line. These performance benefits extend across Intematix' complete amber-color LED line.
