The completion today of a traffic light synchronization program in San Pedro

The mayor announced the completion today of a traffic light synchronization program in San Pedro. The $7.3 million Automated Traffic Surveillance and Control project, which monitors traffic conditions led high bay light and changes signals in real-time, linked 64 intersections and added 17 new left-turn arrows in the harbor area.

Last Thursday ,City of Winfield Electric Utility installed 12 new street lights on the 900 and 1000 blocks of Main Street, as part of an ongoing endeavor to "go green," cut costs and save energy.

This LED convertion represents a significant energy savings over Winfield's current, high-pressure sodium street lights by cutting energy usage by about 70 percent.

In addition, the company also has developed a partnership with Dixon Technologies which grants the latter exclusive rights to distribute LSG’s products in India. Jim Haworth, LSG’s CEO,announced that “Our entry into China earlier in the year and now India is an indication of what’s led linear high bay light to come for Lighting Science Group as we solidify our worldwide brand presence.”
